4.5 Inserting a Quiz

You can incorporate quizzes created with the help of Quiz Force into your presentation. A quiz is inserted on a filled slide. The optimal dimensions of the presentation which contains a quiz are 720x540.

 

To insert a quiz into the presentation, do the following:

1. Navigate to MS PowerPoint, and then open the PowerPointForce 3 menu.

2. Click Insert, and then select Quiz from Quiz Force:

 

 

3. In the open form, set the needed options, or leave the default ones:

Quiz location

Click the Browse () button, and then specify the path to the quiz. The folder you select must contain quiz resources (QuizForce.swf, test.txt, and media). This folder is created when you publish the quiz in QuizForce. You can as well input the location manually.

Finish button actions

From the drop-down lists, select where the user get redirected after he/she finished the quiz (passed or failed); the options are: stay on the current slide, go to the previous slide, or go to the next slide.

User can leave the quiz at any time

Select the check box if you want to allow a user to skip the slides before he/she completes the quiz; otherwise leave the box empty.

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you select the Advance Slide Automatically After option for the slide that contains a quiz, the defined interval will start when the quiz ends. For example, if you set the advance time value 20 seconds, the slide will be changed automatically when 20 seconds pass after the quiz ends. Of course, it can be done only if you select the stay on the current slide check box.
