Template Builder is a tool for customizing PowerPointForce 3. With its help you’re provided with an easy way to set and configure options of the player.
To apply templates using Template Builder, do the following:
1. Navigate to MS PowerPoint, and then open the PowerPointForce 3 menu.
2. From the PowerPointForce 3 menu, select Template Builder:

3. In the open dialog box, choose between the following options:

- Select one of the 3 standard templates (PowerWin, Boogie Night and JooM). You cannot modify or delete them.
- Create a new template:
a) Click the New button.
b) In the open dialog box, type the name for the template:

c) From the drop-down list, select a template that you want to use as a base for your new template (PowerWin, Boogie Night or JooM).
d) Click Ok. The created template will appear in the list:

e) From the drop-down list, select the template, and then modify its properties as described in the following table:

View modes |
The default is User can switch view. The player always begins the presentation in standard view (when this display mode is on, all player elements are visible, unless explicitly turned off), a user can switch between Standard and Full mode with the help of the button in the right bottom corner (when this display mode is on, the only item that is visible is the PowerPoint slide).
You can disable mode switching by setting Use only standard mode or Use only full mode. |

Controls |
The section allows you to choose what kind of elements should be shown in the control panel. The choices are Volume control, Navigation buttons and Display seekbar. If you want them to be displayed, select the check box next to a corresponding element; otherwise leave the box blank.

Navigation |
The default is User can view slides in any order. If this option is selected, a user will not be able to change slides using the menu.

Panels |
You can choose either to hide or display different panels. The choices are Logo, Presenter panel, Bio and email, and Control panel. If you want them to be displayed, select the check box next to a corresponding element.

Color Scheme |
You can change the color scheme for your template. Click on the Color schemes tab to edit the colors:
You will see a standard scheme in the list that you can’t modify or delete. To add a new scheme, clicks the New button, enter its name, select the template you want to use as a base for your color scheme (PowerWin, Boogie Night or JooM), and then click Ok. After doing that you can edit its colors by clicking the color buttons: |

Text labels file |
To change text labels for your template, click the Text Labels tab. You will see a standard file in the list that you cannot modify or delete. To add a new file, click New, enter its name, and then click Ok. After doing that you can edit text labels by highlighting them and inputting the new ones. This way you can create your own language label text:

f) Click Save button to apply the changes and finish creating. Click Preview to see how the template will look in a browser.
If the Template builder possibilities for template creation and editing are not sufficient for you, you can order a custom player template from the developer. After receiving your template place the file into Build-in directory in Templates folder (the default directory is C:\Program Files\ElearningForce\PowerPointForce 3\Templates\Build-in). If there is no directory named Build-in in the Templates folder, create it on your own. After this your template will be available for publication in the templates list.
