Quiz Properties
QuizForce allows you to customize quiz properties for each quiz you create.
To modify Quiz Properties:
1. Click the Quiz Properties button on the toolbar.

2. Customize quiz properties:

General Properties
Quiz Title: The title of your quiz.
Passing Score: The percentage score required to pass the quiz.
Timer: Whether you want time remaining, elapsed time, or elapsed of total to display.
End quiz after: Set a time limit for your quiz by checking the box and inputting the number of minutes and seconds that users will have to take your quiz.
Show Correct: Whether or not your users should have the option to recap the quiz and correct answers, compared to the answers selected (when the incorrect option was chosen).
E-mail Result: Whether or not your user should have the option to email quiz results to you upon completion of the quiz. (Note: This option requires user interaction, Outlook, or Lotus Notes or other The user will need to click the “Ctrl+V” or “ Paste” to paste the results to the mail client)
Print result: Whether or not your users should have the option to print quiz results. Optionally, check the box to prompt for user’s name to appear on printed results. (Note: User’s results will be formatted with a printer-friendly view. The user will need to click the ‘Print’ button to send the results to the printer.)
Graded Properties
Display this message if the user passes: The default text to display when a user passes.
Display this message if the user fails: The default text to display when a user fails.
When user passes, ‘Finish’ button: When your user passes the quiz, whether clicking the ‘Finish’ button will close the quiz window or restart quiz or direct your user to a specified URL. Click “…” to enter the URL.
When user fails, ‘Finish’ button: When your user fails the quiz, whether clicking the ‘Finish’ button will close the quiz window or restart quiz or direct your user to a specified URL. Click “…” to enter the URL.
Survey Properties
• Display this message: The default text to display when a user has completed your survey.
• When user completes survey, ‘Finish’ button: When your user finishes the survey, whether clicking the ‘Finish’ button will close the survey window or restart quiz or direct your user to a specified URL. Click “…” to enter the URL.
When finished making changes, click OK.
If you wish to cancel any changes you have made, click Cancel.
Customizing Player Text Labels
Every text element of the quiz interface -- buttons and messages -- can be customized to display any text you'd like. This is particularly useful when targeting additional languages or cultures.
To modify Player Text Labels:
1. Select Player Text Labels from the Edit menu.

2. Click the Custom Text field next to the Button/Message/Label you'd like to modify. (See below chart for details on available buttons, labels and messages.)

3. Enter your new or modified text.
4. Repeat Steps 2-3 for all fields you'd like to modify.
5. Click OK to save your changes to this quiz, or click Save to save your changes to a custom file.

To load custom Player Text Labels:
1. From the Edit menu, select Player Text Labels.
2. Click the Load button.
3. Navigate to the custom Player Text Labels file you wish to load for your quiz.
4. Click Open.
5. Click OK to make this custom set active.
Customizing Player Colors
You can create your own color schemes for your quiz, as well as define quiz behavior and audio effects.

To modify Player Color:
1. Select Player Colors from the Edit menu.

2. Create your own color (to change any item’s color click the color box corresponding to the text):

3. Click the Preview button if you wish to preview your changes. Keep the following pointers in mind:
You must have at least one question in your quiz in order to Preview changes to player colors.
If your quiz has two or more questions, the Preview will show only two questions.
Click OK to save changes to the quiz, or click Save to save changes to a custom file.
To load custom Player Colors:
1. Select Player Colors from the Edit menu.
2. Click the Load button.
3. Navigate to the custom Player Colors file you wish to load for the quiz.
4. Click Open.
5. Click OK to make this custom set active.
You can close the Player Colors editor at any time without saving changes by clicking the Cancel button.
