WordForce supports the insertion of a variety of questions into a Word document. They will appear in published HTML output as a combination of DHTML scripting and HTML form elements. If necessary, the published output can be generated as a package that can be played back in a Learning Management System (LMS).
To add a question:
1. Place the pointer where you want to insert the question.
2. On the WordForce 3 tab, select a question you want to create:

3. Complete the form required for each question type; the details might differ, but the all have common properties:
· Enter the question – Type the question text:

· Insert answering choices for the question:
a) In the Choice field, type the answer:

b) To set up this answering choice as a correct, click the Correct field. The option will be marked as
.
c) To add more answering choices (1 to unlimited), click Insert Item (
).
d) Repeat steps a-c to add more answering choices if needed.
· Question Type – select whether you want the answers to be graded:

o Graded question – enables you to check if the user’s answer is correct. In this case you will be able to specify the number of attempts for the question.
o Survey question – do not presuppose any correct or incorrect answers. They are being asked only with some research purposes.
· Feedback type – from the drop-down list, select a feedback type for this question:

o None – No feedback will be shown to a user after answering the question.
NOTE: If you select the None feedback option, you will not be able to set the number of attempts for this question; it will automatically set as 1, and the Number of Attempts field will be disabled.
o Question Level – Feedback will be shown to a user after answering the question. This method allows you to provide different feedbacks depending on whether the given answer is correct or not. Click
below to enter correct and incorrect feedback messages:

o Answer Level – Feedback will be shown to a user on each attempt. This method allows you to provide different feedbacks based on the specific answer selected. A Feedback field will appear next to each Choice. Enter the Feedback you would like to display when a user selects the corresponding answering choice:

NOTE: Only Multi Choice and Multi Response questions have the feedbacks on the Answer level.
Number of Attempts – Select how many times the same user can answer this question; in the range from 1 to 10, which will allow a user to keep guessing until the correct choice is selected. You can also specify the Unlimited value, and the users will be able to answer as many times as they want.

· Shuffle Answers – select the check box to display the answering choices in random order:

TIP: You can preview your question by clicking the Preview button in the lower-right corner.
4. Click OK to create a question.
To edit a question, place the pointer on it, and then on the WordForce panel click Edit.
