The file library is a great addition to the system!!

In the new file library, all the folders seem to remain open. It would be useful to have the facility to have all folders default to closed. For us we would have a considerable number of files (we have 10000 in the LMS already) and having the folders open would be ridiculous.

It would also be great to have the file library categorised according to the categories used for the courses....I would think that most teachers would only want to share files common to their course categories rather than across the whole school/company.

It can be implemented, but....
Currently: all folders are closed by default after opening the FileLibrary. If you will have a lot of files in this situation which are devided by folders then to find necessary folder in the closed list would be easier.
Maybe we are saying about something different?

Yes, I think we are talking about something slightly different.

When you go to the file library all folder are closed by default which is great.

When you go to the documents area and click to add a file from the file library then all the folders open by default which is causing a problem.

Clear now?
