Hello,
I want to create a learning path with the following structure:
Learningpath I
-> Chapter 1
-> Flash Presentation from Articulate
-> Quiz from JoomLMS
-> Link from JoomLMS
-> Chapter 2
-> Flash Presentation from Articulate
-> Quiz from JoomLMS
-> Link from JoomLMS
-> Chapter 3
-> Final-quiz from JoomLMS
My questions:
1. How do I get the Articulate Presentation into an Chapter or Content? I don't want to make a new Learningpath for every presentation.
2. Is it possible to show the Articulate presentation in a Lightbox (or similar)? In this case I can use the complete width of the screen.
Thanks for help.
Best wishes, Roland

The only way to add SCORM into the LMS: upload it to the LeanringPaths list.
If you doesn't want to show this item for learners -> check 'Hide resources in the list' option under the SCORM item settings.

Thers is no such way in the JoomlaLMS natively. If you have some HTML/CSS skills you can create custom HTML page within the LearningPath and embed SCORM item into it (by partially coping source from the JoomlaLSM 'SCORM player' page).

Thanks for the answer... But I found a way now..
1. upload the Scorm-Package to documents
2. open/start the document
3. show source code from the site
4. search to player.html
5. copy the url with player.html in the end
6. add new content to learning path
7. Insert in content a link to the safed url (with player.html in the end)
8. set the class to lightbox or use JCE utilities
Advantages:
- You can use the whole page for the SCORM Presentation
Best wishes, Roland
You have uploaded your SCORM to the docuemtns section (as 'Zip package'). In this case your SCORM tracking/statistics will not be available, because you are using your course only as presentation (html course), not as SCORM natively.
To see all SCORM statistics/tracking information, it should be uploaded as 'SCORM' to the LearningPaths section of the course.

i'm curious how difficult is this to do?
Articulate does come with the "launch presentation" option but i have had issues with popup blockers.
It would be very nice for the student to just click on the scorm link and have it appear in a popup/lightbox that defaults to full screen.

I used the authoring tool-powepoint force to create a new scorm 2004 zip file, and also upload the scorm zipfile to Joomla media folder. When I creat a new learningpath, I choose the scorm tab,and "Choose a file uploaded into Joomla 'media' folder via FTP", also input the necessary description, but when I click "save", a pop says "can't support the file extend", what does it mean and how to make a correct learningpath with scorm zip file created by powerpoint force?
thanks !
fran
Extension of the file must be 'zip', please check if you have published your presentation as SCORM and use the corresponding file for loading in LMS.
Can you provide the entire text of the error message?
Can I download your file for testing purposes from somewhere?

Hi den,
thanks and I made it! It's very easy that I add ".zip"to the file name and it can be loaded.
But, when I when back to the learningpath page and publish the new learningpath which I created as scorm from powerpoint force, I click the new learningparth but it show 404 page and it mentioned it can't find the component, what does it mean? Very interesting thing is, if I use Camtasia Studio 5 to produce a scorm and upload to be a new learningpath, it works and show the video clearly!
same problem happened with scorm produced by quiz force. it still show 404 page and mentioned it can't find the component.
Meanwhile, when I tested an scorm zip file with 9.9 M size to upload to Media folder through FTP and created a new learningpath with that scorm, the system mentioned the upload file is over the file size and I should contact the admin to modify the PHP config, what does it mean?
thanks and cheers!
