The Installer tells me "ERROR: Could not find an XML setup file in the package". What's wrong?

Mostly this problem arises because you don't have unpacked the file JoomlaLMS_XXXXXX_unzip1st.zip before and tried uploading / installing this file.

The Installer tells me "Another component is already using the directory com_joomla_lms"

Please delete the directories /your_site_root/components/com_joomla_lms and /your_site_root/administrator/components/com_joomls_lms

When using the automatic installation nothing happens after clicking on "Upload & Install" What's the cause?

Joomla LMS is a big component, its installer file archive has a size about 3 MB. When uploading this file to your server you can wait a long time until the file is completely transferred to your server. If upload failed, you can use Install from directory in your Joomla.

Do I need to install JoomlaLMS in all the systems from where I want to add courses. I converted a ppt file using powerpoint force and want to install a course into the website. I have got superuser rights but have no joomlaLMS installed. Kindly help

You need to install JoomlaLMS at your website only. Different files are uploaded to different sections of JoomlaLMS. SCORMs are to be uploaded to Learning Paths section.

I to have had trouble uploading the 'media_service_application' package. I t said missing Xml. And sure enough when i looked in the zip it was not there.
Waiting on a reply from help desk.

needs to go with your Flash Media Server, not your Joomla installation!
