I have downloaded the demo, and it all seems to work ok, but doen't seem to be as user friendly for the student as I would have expected, but maybe I am not understanding something.

When a user enrols in a course, and then goes to that course, can it be setup so that they are automatically redirected to the 'start' of the course?

As it is at the moment, ther doesn't appear to be an automatic flow from the course information to the test for the course.

I say this becuase it seems to me that the student needs to know that they have to select 'Learning Paths' to do the study component of the course, and then once completed they then need to know to select 'quizes' to do the test for the course. Is this correct????

Hi penguinhead,

You can make it as user friendly as you like.

For example, you can create a link in the course home page which takes you direct to the learning path or the course, without the student having to click on any icon.

If you import a scorm then the student just follows the course.

If you create a learning path, then you import quizes and documents etc into your learning path, and the student just follows what you have chosen.

You can create conditions, for example, the student can only continue to the next part of the course, if he passes the quiz. At the top of the course area is a forwards arrow. The student just needs to click on the arrow to continue.

Hope this helps.

I am in the same boat as penguinhead... I can't figure out how to make it more intuitive for the user to start a program.

I import a SCORM and it still requires you to click on learning path and then click on the scorm package link to start it. then the arrows as you indicate appear.

Also, it is not obvious how to get a scorm to launch in it's own window. Since the scorm standard has "stage size" properties to allow you to launch nicely into a new window and navigate in that window, it would be nice to be able to do this in the LMS, otherwise your flash content may get lost in the menus and mambots.

Any additional detail on how to accomplish these things will be greatly appreciated.

In 1.0.1 we create Course settings. Here you can set automatically redirect students from this page to any Learning Path available in this course.
