embedding widgets in joomlalma / joomla pages

Am i able to embed widgets in joomla lms pages or in joomla pages in general? I would like to do this but seem not to be able to, I insert the code and it just get wiped when I save and the widget does not appear. How do I do this? (either in a joomlalms quiz page or a normal joomla content page?)

Actually we don't know which widgets you are trying to embed and how. If their code is not restricted, then it is cut off by WYSIWYG editor. Try to disable WYSIWYG editor on your site and insert your widget into the content.
Another way: usually all uncommon content is inserted using content mambots/plugins. Try to find plugins for your widgets at extensions.joomla.org
