Quiz/Test Module

I have been testing the LMS with considerable success and must congratulate you on a very comprehensive product!

I think that from an educators point of view, the only thing I would like to see is a better quiz module.

We currently use IGIveTest over at http://www.igivetest.com/

The functions of the above script are extremely beneficial.

1) Would it be possible to integrate this into the LMS instead of your current quiz module?

2) If it is possible, approximately how much would development be? (ball park figure)

I think with IGiveTest and JoomlaLMS we would have a stunning offering for our students.

I looked at the program you recommended. Not bad at all. However, what exactly is it that you need implemented in JoomlaLMS? Maybe it is easier to integrate it into the quiz module from eLearnforce rather than integrating a whole external software :-) .... I found Flashquiz by eLearnforce very nice and flexible. It is supposed to be integrated into JoomlaLMS, from what I understand, and should cover most needs for quizzes (I think)

Yes, the Joomla quiz module is nice but it lacks a lot of features that we currently use.

The iGiveTest software offers:

- individual feedback per questions response rather than the single response allowed in Joomla Quiz
- question bank - thus allowing questions to be added to a test quickly
- various grading options
- ...plus lots more

I'm not sure how easy it would be to update the Joomla Quiz.

Other option is to have the link on the LMS pointing to the external quiz....to be honest we would not be too concerned about not having the results integrated at this stage. It could be developed later.

We are developing a JoomlaQuiz Deluxe with A LOT of new features - but we will take it step by step not to confuse the users - the existing JoomlaQuiz have a lot of features already.

Can you advise on some of these new features. I don't want to start using another system if what you will be offering will do this.

Yes I could do this but I cannot tell when it will be ready - I believe we are planning for 5-6 weeks.
We are talking lots of new features both for the config and the admin part.
Maybe better to mail you the unofficial flow so I dont promise to much..... Please mail me at bm@elearningforce.dk and I will give you an answer - but there any MANY changes coming.........
