new course & new user lag time

I have two installs running, on separate hosts.

On one, I am having a strange issue...when new users register to my site and enroll for a class, they get the congratulations message for successful enrollment but no green check mark appears and they cannot access the class. If they log out, and a different fully registered user for that class logs in and back out, then the first user can log back in and are now fully enrolled in the class, they get the checkmark and can access the course. There also seems to be a 5-10 lag time involved in this process.

On the other install, I am still having the same issue as posted last night. Classes that I create as a teacher do not show up for anyone who registers for the website. Self registration is enabled. Publishing dates are correct and available.

It seems the only way people can become enrolled and for classes is to show up is through the back end.

Hi,
I had a similar problem. Is this course free? You said that your publishing dates were correct but perhaps you could check the following and see if this works:

In the backend, go 'Manage Courses' or 'Course Management' and select the course which is giving you problems.
Make sure that both the staring date and ending date are marked as 'No'.

By default, JoomlaLMS is leaving the ending date as blank for free courses and this is causing courses to be invisible to users.

I am not sure it will solve your problem but it might help you to pinpoint an issue.

Thanks for the reply! Your idea worked for a while, but then things reverted back to the same problem. I am still looking for a solution. Tech support is looking at it. I will report the resolution!
