Error uploading new Scorm Package

I am using Joomla 1.0.12 and have created a scorm package using Thesis Pro Learning Object Manager (a scorm creation and exporting utility). However, when I try to upload thescrom zip file I get the following error:

"Could not find a course XML setup file in ther package". Any thoughts why this might be happening?

Also - are there any scrom development and exporting programs that you would recommend I look at?

I am also having problems with SCORM at the moment.

Have you checked that the xml file exists in the package? That was my first problem.

I have just tried uploading my SCORM package to the demo site here at JoomlaLMS and mine works fine (yet it does not work on my own install).

You could try the same thing and see if yours works here.

Where you uploads your SCORM package? You must upload it in 'LearningPaths' course section.

Hi there. Regarding course creation software, I use Articulate software www.articulate.com which is expensive but gives professional looking courses, and you might want to look at WBTexpress at www.wbtexpress.com . They have a free version although I don't think the free version is Scorm compatible. It is not flash based but it is pretty powerful.

In my view this would seem to indicate that the SCORM file
- is not complete,
- not the right SCORM version (should be 1.2) or
- as Den suggested not uploaded in the Learningpath section.

This probably is not the same kind of problem as Brains is reporting --- or is it? In that case the issue would be somewhat more dramatic!
