Hi All,
I have a shared server where I can host any number of websites, presently 1 of my client has a need of installing joomlaLMS. Can I install the regular Joomla plugin which is available in the server plugin tools (here I have Fantastica which has all the plugin tools like Joomla, drupal, wordpress bla bla bla...) and their by is there a way to use JOOMLALMS on the regular Joomla.

Presently the fantastica provides me the 1.5 version of joomla, Im not able to upgrade it since there is already a joomla provision running on a couple of other client website. If I happen to upgrade there are chances that I might have to upload few of the joomla contents of those websites again, Since the client doesnt have the backup of those particular joomla contents im avoiding upgrading the present Joomla version 1.5 to 1.7 or so.

I have gone through the demo in installing joomlalms on a server and found it little bit confusing and I was not successful. It would be a kind request it the forum would help me running this Joomlalms some how.

Regards

Our new JoomlaLMS 1.1 is compatible with either Joomla 1.5 or 1.6. It will work on either version installed through Fantastico.

After installing Joomla please install JoomlaLMS using joomlalms_helper.php (http://www.joomlalms.com/lms-help/administrator-documentation/installation.html) which will check if all system requirements are met.

If no Ioncube loader is installed on your server please install it - or contact your webhosting support for assistance with installing Ioncube loader.

Hello Helga_13,
Thanks for the reply, I discovered that a joomlaLMS is already installed on the server, the issue i'm facing now is how do I use it on an addon-domain. Should I reinstall the JLMS application on the addon-domain.

Example:
1) JLMS is installed on www.testxyz.in server
2) www.mgtx.co.in is an addon-domain on the above server, I need JLMS for www.mgtx.co.in also ...how do I do it. Should I install JLMS again on www.mgtx.co.in
