Converting a Course to a Learning Path

We are using LMS 1.0.7. We have a free course with around 30 students enrolled who have completed the course and have been issued certificates. We would now like to make this course the first learning path in a new free course so that other learning paths can use this course as a prequisite. Will the enrolled students transfer to the new course as enrolled students and will their certificates still be available? If we add a new learning path that has this course as a prerequisite, will the new learning path recognize the students that have completed the first learning path?

Unfortunately it's not possible to export the users settings together with the course. You can add all the users from the old course to a new one but unfortunately their certificates won't be transferred to the new course and if you add the course as a learning path it won't automatically become passed for students from old course.

Any idea when it will be possible to make a course a prerequisite for another course without using a learning path structure?

Course prerequisite feature is added to our roadmap. But at the moment unfortunately it is impossible to tell exactly when this feature will be added to JoomlaLMS. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
