Hi.

Our company have started to set up the LMS system with a lot of future courses.

Today I got this message at the backend:
The encoded file /var/www/html/joomla/administrator/components/com_joomla_lms/admin.joomla_lms.php has expired.

I tried to upgrade to the licensed version, but I denies me the option to do so in the same path on the server. I do not want to loose the course config's we made in the demo version.

Is there any way to work around this problem?

If you want to upgrade from previous versions of JoomlaLMS to the latest version (or from trial to the PRO), please follow these steps:
1. Obtain the software (trial version or licensed package from the MembersArea);
2. Uninstall the old version of component. All your LMS information (configuration info, courses materials and so on) will be kept in the DB.
3. Install new version of the component.
4. Note, if you are manually changed your language files, please backup them before upgrade.
5. If you have changed something in a code - please backup the modified files (as they will be overwritten) before upgrade and then implement in a new version.

Do you installs your PRO package on the licensed domain?
PRO version will be worked only on the domain you've provided during ordering.
