Hi there, I just checked back with this site, cuz I heard of your new release, so was interested in the changes.

I really think this project has good possibilities, the only thing that is keeping me from buying, is the fact that some of your code is encrypted. I truly would like to use your software, but only under the conditions of it being totally open - then, I can rely on my development team to meld it to my needs, instead of having to rely on a 3rd party cuz the source is closed.

is there any plans to provide the source upon purchasing? In tese days of web 2.0 and all the mashups, Id like to have the flexibility to hack the code I am purchasing... please let me know what the state of the code is... what is encrypted, and what is not...

Well, it is only the license protection and a small bit of the Joomlalms code thats encrypted to protect this very large investment.

We are the technology partner for a client who may wish to use your product. We are currently in the process of selecting an LMS/LCMS solution for our client. Like fire, we would also need to be able to customize your solution, to match our client's needs. While I appreciate your need to protect your investment, is there any way that we would be able to make the necessary changes for our client, and still respect your protected code?

e.g. we'd need to add more roles to the system, and we'd probably need to add more tracking capabilities especially for quiz questions

Thank you for your inquiry. I am glad to tell you that tracking capabilities in quiz are not encoded in our system and can be modified by you. However adding roles are encoded and here we can do a custom development for you. Please contact us(lms@elearningforce.biz) and we will be glad to help you in custom development. Btw, we suggest to order tracking capabilities in quiz from us also as only in this case we can quarantee that your modified LMS will be easlily upgradable for the future LMS versions.
