Im trying to upgrade to ver. 1.0.3. I uninstall the old installation, and then I install the new component.
Result: version 1.0.2 is installed.
This is getting very frustrating. Please reply to this issue asap.

PS. how do I reach your ticket system? The replies were pretty fast there.
Very strange issue.
Firstly download 1.0.3 package from the Member's Area.
Make sure that you've download 1.0.3 (check readme.txt file in the package).
And then reinstall the component.

Still same issue.
Got the newest LMS. Uninstall the old LMS. Instal new one. Still version 1.0.2 when i check "About joomlalms".
OK.
Check that menu item 'UserManagement -> Certificates' is exists at the left-side JoomlaLMS BackEnd menu.
(This item was added in 1.0.3 and so we will check your version).
(In few minutes i will download your package and check it).
Your 1.0.3 package is correct.
May be your old package (1.0.2) was cached in the Joomla temporary folder ('media' folder in the site root). Try to manually remove old zip and the reinstall the component.
Or use the JoomlaLMS installation helper, it will help you in the manual component installation.

Just followed your instructions. Deleted the zip file in the media folder via ftp. Reinstalled version 1.0.3.
But with the same result. Still version 1.0.2 installed.
What about these:
Make sure that you've download 1.0.3 (check readme.txt file in the package).
Check that menu item 'UserManagement -> Certificates' is exists at the left-side JoomlaLMS BackEnd menu.
(This item was added in 1.0.3 and so we will check your version).
Or use the JoomlaLMS installation helper, it will help you in the manual component installation.
If you will provide FTP + Joomla Admin access for me (via PM), i will help you and it will be more quickly then posts at the forum.

Ive got the right version.
Menu item 'UserManagement -> Certificates' doesnt exist in my joomla edition.
Id be happy to provide you with access. What is your email?
The problem is solved.
How to reinstall the component:
1. Remove the old version.
2. Check if your folders 'administrator/components' and 'components' contain 'com_joomla_lms' folder and delete it if it exist.
3. Install new version of the LMS.
