When I installed the recent version (1.0.3) I found that it was incompatible with sh404SEF and JCE which I found very useful with other Joomla sites. My questions are:
1. Is there a way to properly configure sh404SEF with JLMS? or should I use another SEF? What do you recommend?
2. Is JCE completely incompatible with JLMS or is there some work around?
JoomlaLMS is compatible with SEF components. JoomlaLMS is compatible with JCE.
But if these components are installed all together, the JCE is not worked on some LMS pages, because JCE is uncompatible with SEF components (as many other JS-based plugins). From version to version we are silently decrease the number of incompatible pages. For 1.0.3 i can think 'create course' page and may be some other. Inside the course the most number of pages are compatible with JCE.
This was tested with JCE and OpenSEF extension.

You are apparently using SEF on this site. What are you using or recommend?
We are using OpenSEF (a little customized for our needs).

I tried OpenSEF (NuSEF), Artio / JoomSEF (Kanga patched), but all to no avail. Typically I can get to the general home page listing of my courses, but then when I click on a course, the browser tries to download a PHP file.
Also when I click on Learning Paths or Quizes or Tracking for a course, the browser goes blank.
Note: System info: Database Version: 5.0.46; PHP Version: 5.1.6

The problem with page going blank appears to be a matter of adjusting the template. The I use is by Rockettheme.
Still would like help with the SEF issue though.
Please, post the contents of your .htaccess file.
The problem is occured only on LMS pages?
