Hello,

I think this is possible but I just want to clear something up before I buy and was hoping somebody could clear it up...

-I have a membership site and I want to have a teacher get their own individual "classroom" group when they join.

-From there, the students would sign up into that teacher's room.

-There would then be homework and assignments to be completed on a daily basis by the students.

-The teacher could then download a checklist at the end of the week to see who's been doing their work and who's been slacking off (maybe the attendance feature)?

-Finally, the teacher could then click on a student's name to go deeper and actually see the work that they've been doing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

All the best,
Mike

The most of your points weren't realized in the current version, but we will be happy to do any customization for you (http://www.joomlalms.com/custom-elearning-development.html).
May be some explanations would be helpful for you:

-I have a membership site and I want to have a teacher get their own individual "classroom" group when they join.
- From there, the students would sign up into that teacher's room

At the current version students can enroll into any course when enabled 'self-enrollment'.
In our system teacher can have different students groups in different courses, but if he wants he can learn the same students in all of his courses (he can use export/import users to populate all his courses equally).

-There would then be homework and assignments to be completed on a daily basis by the students.
-The teacher could then download a checklist at the end of the week to see who's been doing their work and who's been slacking off (maybe the attendance feature)?

Instead of assignments you can use learningpaths and documents tool.
Teacher is unable to download checklist of learners homework, but this will not take much time for customization. 'Register of Attendance' tool allows to register learners attendance only by hand, in other case teacher should manually mark learners as present or not. There is a possibility to export attaendance list.

-Finally, the teacher could then click on a student's name to go deeper and actually see the work that they've been doing.

In the 'tracking' tool you can see learners actions in the course, their progress in learningpaths, their usage of any other tool of the course.
