Make courses invisible

Hi, I wonder if it is possible to make certain courses invisible for certain studenst.

As i understand now. All courses are visible for everyone. Depending on the setting the course can either be self-subscribed or can be requested to be subscribed to by email.

Can i make a course invisible unless the user belongs to a certain group?

We are planning to do custom courses for our clients (companies).
(F.e a course about welding in their company with their machines.)

This course shuld not be visible for employees of other companies and vice versa

Any idea how to do this?

Course have an 'access level' option. This option is related to the Joomla CMS user role (Registered, Author, Editor...). If user Access level is less than allowable course access level, then this user will be unable to see the course.
If you want to create custom user roles in Joomla CMS, you should use 3pd ACL extensions, i.e. JACLplus.
