I have created a scorm package from camtasia, and uploaded it to a path, in firefox all is well when viewing the scorm, in internet explorer shows the following message when the scorm is about to play "Unable to locate the LMS's API Implementation Communication with the LMS will not occur"

Please can you advise on what is wrong. Thanks

What is the version of IE browser you are using?
Try to republish SCORM in Camtasia and reupload it again.

There was a bug with IE-browsers. SCORMs added to the LearningPath as steps are not played in IE.
I've attached the patch to my post.
(attachement removed - chek the posts below)

OK this is working now, but now i have another problem, when the user finishes the learning paths and completes the course, the user has to press restart to start the course all over again.

Before this patch was applied the user would get to the end of the course it would say congratulations you have finished and they then could go through the course and view the scorms again if they wish. with this new patch applied they cannot view the learning path it just says learning path started - finished and no option but to restart the whole course again, I am using rules so the user has to complete say lesson 1 to progress to lesson 2 etc, my course has 11 lessons, as soon as the last lesson has finished (path complete) the user cannot recap on the previous lessons without progressing through the whole course again.

Sorry for repeating myself but wanted to get my problem across, is there a way, that when the user finishes a course (learning path) they can go through and recap on previous lessons.

Thanks, and thanks again for the great support!

So yes this new problem does relate to the new patch you will see the difference in the image attached.

Hi
I have the same issue as detailed above, but it happens after the delegate has restarted a course they have already taken. The message did not occur when the delegate went through the course the first time.

Thanks

It happens in all browsers? In which way delegate has restarted the course?
Your SCORM is opened in new window or in the same as your site?

Both in IE6 and Firefox. The Camtasia Video opens in the same window.

Can you provide access to your site, or zip of camtasia course for testing?
