Hello,

We are interested in implementing your product however, would to receive more information on the use of and tracking of custom flash modules.

Our company creates custom Flash learning modules, the modules are story based and students can take different directions while playing the modules. We would like to track the following information:

1. the time to complete each module
2. the direction or path the user took through the module
3. how many times they failed at a particular section within the module

I understand our custom modules would need to initiate calls to your LMS however, would your system be able to accommodate this sort of tracking?

Thanks,

den

If your modules are SCORM-based and they are report such information to the LMS, then you will be able to see this information at the tracking tool. You can test it in our DEMO (You can upload SCORM modules under the LearningPaths course tool) or download trial version.

P.S.
Register a teacher account (with possibility to create courses) for our DEMO you can here: http://www.joomlalms.com/index.php?option=com_lms_rights

Hello Nigel,

Any progress on testing your courses?

Hi Den,

I installed the demo on a testing site I own. We don't have the courses are not yet SCORM-based. I'm currently trying to build test course and will upload that to the demo when I am done.

2 different questions though:

1. We offer courses in different languages, does Joomla and JoomlaLMS support multi-language pages?

2. Do you support the latest SCORM?

Thanks Den,

Nigel

1. We offer courses in different languages, does Joomla and JoomlaLMS support multi-language pages?

JoomlaLMS has multi-language support at the FrontEnd. Our BackEnd part is english only and it is not translatable.
What do you mean by 'multi-language pages'? Do you want to use several languages on one page at once? If so, then all depends on the site codepage - you should use UTF-8.

2. Do you support the latest SCORM?

JoomlaLMS supports both SCORM1.2 and SCORM2004(1.3). Features of the SCORM2004 3rd edition (sequencing & navigation) are partially supported.
