Can I change the domain name under a single license? For example, if I am hosting at xxx.com, can I change it to yyy.com later on using the same license?

Usually we are quite strict with the domain change. Only in case we 100% sure customer don't use and will never use the system in the future on the first domain (ex.website is closed) we change the license. For the testing purposes we always offer our free trial and demo on our site.

I asked because I am facing problems installing JoomlaLMS on my production server (W2003/IIS6). My staging server (Linux/Apache) is alright. And my client is agreeable to showcase on my staging till we sort out the installation - it is sort of like a proof of concept to sell e-learning to his company.
Nevertheless, if you can fix your licensing implementation to be able to deny and allow domain names at your end, it will be a nice feature to have. Aren't you already doing that under elearningforce.biz?

I recommend to start using trial on your (Linux/Apache). You will have one month time to sort out the problems. After that you will simply install licensed package. All your data (courses, etc.) will be saved.
Also, as you faced such a case we can make you a license for the shot period (3-4 month) for one domain. And after you move to another we simply code the second license for this domain for the full period.

Also if you having JoomlaLMS installation problems on Win2003, we can try to help you with this. Just describe.

Thanks. I have posted the issue under Installation and Configuration, and Den has been helpful.
It may or may not be JoomlaLMS problem on Windows. Since I have gotten it to work under Linux/Apache, I will just source for a Linux box as an alternative - not to worry.
I needed the non-trial version to remove the footer and title that says JoomlaLMS Trial. This is a case where my client has not really finalized on the domain name - need to seek clearance from corporate HQ, whether it will park under their organisation domain or external one, etc. So the flexibility will be appreciated - something for you to consider when reviewing your licensing model.

If you need non-trial version,
please pay 60USD (admin fee) using our web shop:
http://www.elearningforce.biz/webshop/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,56/category_id,9/manufacturer_id,0/
Provide us with the domain name, we will do the full version 100 users for one month as an exception. Better use our ticket system for that:
http://www.elearningforce.biz/helpdesk/
This is the first time our customers force such situation. We consider this case if our customers have similar problems more often.

Dmitry

Thanks. I will probably buy the Standard version with 100 users license. But do hope you can allow a change to the final domain name later.
