The JoomlaLMS comes with the following folders/file packages:


modules_plugins folder
com_joomlalms
media_server_applicationCan you elaborate on which directory (root? file folder?) I shld extract these files and why.

I am familiar with the com_joomlalms but unclear on modulespluginsfolder and mediaserverapplication with respect to the joomlalms integration. Can you describe what are the purposes of those folders/apps?

'modules_plugins' folder
cb_joomlalms_autoenroll.zip — plug-in for CommunityBuilder component. Allows to enroll users automatically into courses after their registration.
jlms_searchbot.zip — a search plug-in for Joomla 1.0.x. Allows to use Joomla search box to search courses by their name and description.
mod_jlms_menu.zip — a module for Joomla which shows JoomlaLMS top navigation menu in the module position using native Joomla styles.

media_server_application.zip - Application for Adobe FlashMediaServer for usinf conferencing facilities (if you purchase FMS service from us, we will provide FMS account with preinstalled application).

On upload (if using ftp method) to Joomla1.5, please explain very specifically which folders/directory to create (or upload to if folders already exist within joomla1.5) where those JLMS extensions should reside.

You don;t need to create anything. mod_jlms_menu.zip is Joomla module you should install it using Joomla module installer. jlms_searchbot.zip - is Joomla mambot/plugin which should be installed using Joomla installer too.
cb_joomlalms_autoenroll.zip - plugin for CommunityBuilder component; CB should be installed firstly (www.joomlapolis.com).
