Problem installing in Joomla 2.5

I'm having a devil of a time installing Joomla LMS in Joomla 2.5

I get a msg that says "Installing component was successful" But I get a red box above it that says:
"Another menu item with the same parent has this alias
Error Building Admin Menus"

I've noticed that under Joomla Admin the Component menu that should have JoomlaLMS now in it doesn't. There is no way to launch JoomlaLMS.

Any ideas?

Maybe you earlier tried installing old JoomlaLMS version (1.2.0) on Joomla 2.5 prior to installing JoomllaLMS 1.2.5 and this causes the issue. Here are the steps to solve the problem:
1) Uninstall JoomlaLMS - your data will be preserved;
2) Open your database management tool (e.g. phpmyadmin) and manually remove all occurrences of JoomlaLMS in jos_menu and jos_extensions using the following queries:
SELECT *FROM `jos_menu` WHERE `link` LIKE '%joomla_lms%'
SELECT * FROM `jos_extensions` WHERE `element` LIKE '%joomla_lms%'

After you use these queries - please replace the table prefixes (jos_)with the actual ones, after the queries return any records - delete them.
Once you clean the jos_menu and jos_extensions tables - please try to install JoomlaLMS again.
