Hi

Is there an lms upgrade or add-on that allows a small subscription to be charged and after a period of time (30 days) you can set is an automated charge of the correct price, as used on the Jomsocial web page??

Do you mean recurrent payments? In JoomlaLMS you can configure recurrent payments for subscriptions to be charged automatically after a certain period of time - but only for Paypal payment method. If this isn't what you need could you provide more details? We will be happy to assist.

It would seem that this is only on the professional version of Joomla lms, therefore is there an add on that can be used/purchased to enable this?

Unfortunately you can't purchase separately this feature to use together with JoomlaLMS Standard - only if you purchase JoomlaLMS Professional you can use recurrent payments feature.
