Mailbox database message incomplete

I would like to query the database tables for the LMS Mailbox messages sent by our students to our teachers. I have found the entries in the jos_lms_messages table. However, for some entries, a great deal of the information in the message column is incomplete. It only shows a small portion of the message that was sent. However, the full message is still in the student’s outbox.

This is a bit puzzling. If Mailbox is pulling from the database, how can it display the full message in the front-end when the message is incomplete in the table? Is it possible to get the full message from a different table in the database? I haven’t been able to find it anywhere else so far.

Please note that all the MailBox messages are preserved in the #___lms_messages table in the database. Hope this helps. Please let us know if further questions appear.

Thank you for your quick response. What I discovered was the messages in question included carriage returns and so the rest of text was hidden below the bottom of the row. I had to increase the width of the row to reveal the rest of the message.
