Hello,
not new, but just a friendly reminder... Joomla LMS is a component for Joomla, so why don't use the power of Joomla? I would prefer integration Kunena as forum and Uddeim as messaging system. So you can concenctrate on the main thing and can easily use the existing systems. It's also for administrator and end user easier to use one native forum on the whole page instead of Kunena for normal site and vBulletin (via not easy to install bridge) for Joomla LMS. |

Kunena forum integration has been in our roadmap for a long time but unfortunately it's not going to be in JoomlaLMS 10.7 release.
Kunena team waited for Joomla 1.6 and its ACL to incorporate private forums for closed groups of users, once it is done we are ready to proceed with the integration. JoomlaLMS is a component for Joomla and you can use all the power of Joomla. You can use kunena and uddeim, the only difference is that you can't configure kunena for closed course forums (but it's not used that often). In case if you want to use one native forum on one page then all you need is to just create new boards for courses. |
