I am new to Joomla LMS. I am having trouble adding courses from a Super Adminstrator. I have to login as a teacher to add courses. I dont want it that way, I want Super Adminstrator/adminstrator to add all the courses and assign teachers, and teachers can only edit their own course.
Any help will be appreciated |

Administrators are unable to create courses rom BackEnd. Check the page: http://www.joomlalms.com/lms_help/ta...w_by_id/id,63/
You can create courses using teacher account from the FrontEnd and aassign another teacher into them as 'assistants'. |

Now I was able to create course with an administrator.
Is there any way to not allow teachers to create courses...I just want them to manage their courses. Is their any way to reduce the rights of teachers? |

You can register your teachers as 'course assistants'. You can do it under the FrontEnd -> course -> Users management.
Assistants are uable to create new courses, they can oly manage their courses and add materials into them. |

oh..ok..that works thx....one more question.....
How can students enroll themselves in a class...like when a user account is created and then the user wants to take history 101, he should just click on the course and pay for it and be enrolled in the class. Also I would like the option of having a shoppingcart, where a student can pay for all the courses they want to enroll at one time.....is this possible? |

Quote:
![]() In the properties fo your courses set 'paid' instead of 'free'. After that go the the Admin BackEnd - JoomlaLMS -> Subscriptions -> and create new paid subcriptions here. During enrolling to the paid course, learner woud be redirected to the 'paid subscriptions' page where he can choose subscirptions, add them into shopping cart and checkout. |

Is it possible to have users already enrolled in courses upon login to their account?
Our customer prefers that once students that are registered, they should be able to select the course and participate in the curriculum without needing to enroll or subscribe first. Is that possible currently? If not, what are options to do so?

Currently, it is impossible. There is a plugin for CB (autoenrollment plugin) which automatically enrolls users into the courses, but set of courses is predefined by administrator and user can not change it during registration.
If you would like to order custom development, take a look at http://www.joomlalms.com/custom-elea...velopment.html |
