Red face How can I upload a course

Hi,

I've started trying to use the pre-purchase version of LMS, and it looks fantastic!

I can see so much potential in it, but I would like to be able to upload a language course that is already set up, because I need to use it in order to understand it, and then make my own.

Also, what is "SCORM" I see it alot in the forum, but it means nothing to me

So I have LMS loaded and working, I can create a course as a teacher, and that's all.

If anyone can help to show me how the actual courses look and work that would be a great help.

Regards

Bill

What is a format of your course? Usually courses are distributes in SCORM packages.
If your course is SCORM-compatible, you can upload it in 'Learning Paths' section of the course.

I don't have a course.

I want to upload one from somewhere to see where everything goes.

I take it from your reply, which I thank you very much, that courses are contained in something called a "SCORM" file.

Can you explain what that is?

And where I can get one? Please?

Bill

Please visit our demo. In some courses at 'LearningPath' section you can find some testing SCORM-packages and can see them as learner. (ex. course 'English Teaching').

Default i would like to add a course

I too would like to add a course - to see how your program works and if it will work for us.

Please advise how I can add a course to your demo -- I dont need step by step, just access to try it out - once I have access, I can figure it out myself

Thanks

Request for teacher rights on our demo at Joomlalms.com home page and try our demo as a teacher.

Hi Fire

SCORM is just a standard for doing some learning packages. This way it can be used on different platforms.
When using SCORM - the package can send info to our LMS about the users behaviour, results, what did he do.... and so on......
Thats all - but veru powerfull!!
