When viewing the 'Documents' is it possible to have them appear in a collapsed view rather than open view?
I now have rather a lot of documents in some courses and some students find it a little difficult locating things....I therefore think that the option to open in a collapsed view would be useful. Thanks |

This is not possible.
Do you want an option for folders 'collapsed - yes/no'? This option could be defined only by teacher? Or each user (teacher/learner) can define this for himself only? P.S. Also you can unpublish not necessary documents for your students |

Hi Den
Thanks for the prompt response. > Do you want an option for folders 'collapsed - yes/no'? Yes, this would be fantastic. It would be nice to let the teacher decide whether to have the folder default to collapsed or not, or maybe even by admin in the backend? (I know what you mean about unpublishing documents BUT all documents are required since they are for revision purposes etc.) Thanks |

This function is implemented.
You can try it in our DEMO. (if you will have JS errors during saving collapsed/expanded view - try to clean browser cache). Suggestions about the better text messages for this function would be greatly appreciated. |

Den, that works really well and should make things a lot easier.
>Suggestions about the better text messages for this function would be greatly appreciated. I did not see any text or messages relevant to this. But whatever you need just let me know. |

I am about the better wording of name of the button 'Save' and its tooltip 'Click to save collapsed/expanded view'.

I think the wording is fine. It is one of those features that would need explaining in the help section really.
