Default Problem with installation

I've got it installed but when in the joomla admin I've made it online but there are no menu items under menu header, and there doesn't seem to be a way to create cources.

I click manage cources in the admin panel and there are none displayed and there is no create one button?

Default found one problem

The helper didn't install the menu_module I installed it manually but still it doesn't work.
Did goto joomla admin / modules / JoomlaLMS Menu and published it.

Still doesn't show any menu items
Still no way to create a course

We are testing software on 1.0.10 joomla site, which we believe it states it will work ok, but we sould upgrade for security reasons,

thanks

Hi

You will first have to assign a user to be an assistant in User Management of Joomla LMS.

Then login as the teacher/assistant that you just assigned, to Add/Edit/Delete a course.

Hope this helps.

Yes, firsly you should create a teacher and assign menu item to the JoomlaLMS component. After that login as teacher at the FronEnd and at the JoomlaLMS menu item you will be able to create courses.

JoomlaLMS menu module will work only on the JoomlaLMS component page.

Read the 'First steps' topic in the instructions.pdf, which is located in the JoomlaLMS package.

Default Brilliant, I missed it in the guide.

I was wondering where the 100 free courses are, and more importantly where the guide is to import them into the LMS.

Plus, I'm looking at the pricing guide and see that it will run around 299 to start out, but how much is it to expand to the next level. from $299 ?

Default Need a little more help

I created a learning path?
First it starts of with a text file, then the quiz.

But it seems a little broken up,

1. To enroll in the course "missing text agree to terms and conditions"

2. I'd like the course to start off right away when a student enrolls, with the 1st document page of the course, is it possible to remove language choices?

3. Seems like the learning path is missing for the course.

4 --> is this the best product for CEU where 2 -5 hours of material is presented to the student and they have to pass a test at the end of the course? Seems bit tricky to navigate to get to the course start.

We don't offer any free courses.

To expand to the next level you should pay the difference between prices. Contact us, and we will manually upgrade your license.

This message should be configured at the BackEnd -> JoomlaLMS -> Configuration -> 'Payments' tab.

At the course home page teacher is able to click 'Settings' button. Here he can disable top menu items for learners, select a learing path which will be automatically started after entering the course.

Please explain, you should create learning path by yourself. Student will be able to see the learning path only if it is published.

Automatically starting of the learning path is available. You can create learning path with materials and quiz at the end.

Do you want an automatic transfer of students results to their server? If so, the custom develpment is needed.
Tacher is able to see student tracking results under the course tracking tool and quiz results under the quiz tool reports.

Default Great answers

I'm going to test the software some more and setup a course to be approved by the dept of education. They will test it out and make sure it meets the standards. I have to submit paper work and fees to get the process started, they require 4 weeks to process the application. Would it be acceptable to you if I created the course on one site and then moved it a new domain with a fresh install of the trail version of lms to have it live for the 30 days required by them to process the application.

I'll get clarification from them as to how there interface works and what is needed to make it work properly.

Pricing of the product is excellent for my needs, if I have 100 students this quarter, may I remove them and still use the same lms license or would I need an upgrade?

Thanks for your quit reply.

PS I remember reading that you had over 100 courses available on your site, covering different stuff? After reveiwing your site I don't see the reference.
