hi i am curently using the trial version of JoomlaLMS, and have a question regarding how users can subscribe for a paid class.
Do users have to register (through comm. builder for example) before then can subscribe to a paid class? Is there a way for them to subscribe and register at the same time to a paid class for x days for free, then after that trial period get charged? my site is www.paraprogresar.biz and you can go to the lms from the menu at the top... |

But you can put user login/registration forms on the JoomlaLMS 'subscriptions' page. Quote:

This would be an amazing feature. If we have to create a free course, then a paid course, users have to manually re-subscribe, whereas the other way, we can give them 7 days, and automatically charge.
Is there any possibility of this being added? Do you do custom development on this component? |

Development of such feature is not planned for our future releases yet. If you are interested in custom development, please submit your request to our ticket system at: http://www.elearningforce.biz/helpde...bmit.php?dep=7

This thing does sound interesting and worth considering....
However, maybe a workaround would be possible. If you built a subscription like for 10 days that cost nothing (I am not sure, whether it is possible to build free subscriptions) and than build another paid subscription for say 100 days, then it should be possible, to register for the second transcription without losing the information (i.e. quiz results etc.) from the first subscription. Some manual action (consent) is required for change of status anyway (if only for legal reasons....), so why not try to experiment with this..... No guarantees....
