Dear JoomlaLMS user,

We are happy to announce a major upgrade to our Learning Management System JoomlaLMS.

Some of the new features are:

- BlackBoard LMS to JoomlaLMS online course converter
- SCORM 2004 compatibility
- SCORM 1.2 with improved compatibility
- Powerfull user management with CSV handling of users
- New languages added: Brazilian, Bulgarian, Chinese and Japanese

Fixes & Improvements:

New users/existing customers are able to download a new trial version or test JoomlaLMS in our demo section of the site.
Existing customers can mail us to get the new update or wait till we'll finish the trial test - approx. one week from now.

We will be thankfull to all JoomlaLMS community which will test our new release. If you will find any bugs or have questions, please post them in the forum - such cooperation will be much appreciated.

How to upgrade from older versions of JoomlaLMS to the latest

1. Obtain the software (trial version or licensed package);
2. Uninstall the old version of component. All your LMS information will be kept in the DB.
3. Install your new version.
4. Note that version 1.0.2 has an improved SCORM API. So, all user tracking might be lost.
5. Note that each version has some language file changes. So, if you are manually changed your language files, please backup them before upgrade.
6. If you have changed something in a code - please backup the modified files (as they will be overwritten) before upgrade and then implement in a new version.
