JoomlaLMS 1.0.5 is ready

Instructions for installation and updated installer script for simple and fast JoomlaLMS installation are included in the packages.

JoomlaLMS 1.0.5 changes and new features:

• New CART functionality for Paid subscriptions. Now you can manage your CART and checkout several subscriptions per time.
• A lot of new features in the quizzes tool, i.e. redesigned user interface, three new types of questions, new 'survey' functionality for questions, new quiz tracking and reports, improved review functionality, progress bar.
• Possibility to create topics on your course home page and place course content links there. Teachers can introduce their course materials (quizzes, learning paths, documents, etc.) on the course home page.
• Improved Learning Paths tool. New navigation button 'Resume last attempt', possibility to create Learning Path - related course forum boards.
• New mailbox tool, which stores all messages at the site database. Now any learner can send mail messages to other learners.
• Two new different modes for User groups management: local/global. 'Local' (old way) – user groups are created at course level and users are associated with user groups at the course level. 'Global' (new): Users groups are created at the Administrator Back End first. Then administrator associates users with their groups. After the teacher adds users to the course they will be in group already.
• New SMF forum integration features including private teachers forums creation.
• 'Notes' plugin. Users can write their notes regarding any LMS page.
• Improved Quiz/Course certificates creation process. Now you can place any number of text messages on the certificate and style them using any font.
• Access to all the user certificates (including quiz certificates) in the Gradebook.
• File Library. Global repository for the documents outside the courses. Teachers can use any file uploaded to the file library documents in any course.
• A lot of new LMS configuration options and adjustments for even more greater flexibility and accessibility.
• 'Waiting Lists' feature for LMS courses. You can set up the maximum number of attendees for your course. New learners would be placed to the course Waiting List. As soon as the course has free places again, users from the course Waiting List will be automatically enrolled into the course.
• Email notification of learners when enrolling the course.
• New Joomla! module: 'My courses'. You can place list of the users' courses into any page of your site.
• New Joomla! mambot: 'PayPal button'. Users can purchase your courses from any content page of your site.
• Improved CB-integration.
• W3C WAI accessibility fixes and adjustments.
• Now our JoomlaLMS is compatible with Joomla 1.0.15, CB1.1, Joomla 1.5.3 (legacy mode), SEF components.
• Adjustments for SSL compatibility.
