JoomlaLMS 1.2.0 released!

JoomlaLMS is Joomla! 1.7.0 compatible now. We are glad to assert that JoomlaLMS runs on the latest Joomla! CMS seamlessly.

In new version we are glad to announce several new modules, implemented improvements and integration with Drag&Drop and FlashMagazine Joomla! components. Check the topics below in this article to get more detailed overview about each of the additions.

New JoomlaLMS modules and updated extensions

JoomlaLMS courses and JoomlaLMS menu modules were available in previous versions of JoomlaLMS, they used to display the corresponding items for learners from their JoomlaLMS courses. There are several new modules introduced in JoomlaLMS 1.2.0 to make interaction with LMS even smoother:

• Mailbox;
• Announcements;
• Dropbox;
• Homework;
• Certificates;
• Forum Posts;

Modules can be used on any page of your Joomla! site or accumulated at iGoogle like customizable dashboard via integration with Drag&Drop Joomla! component. All modules are compatible with all latest versions of Joomla! CMS (1.5.x, 1.6.x, 1.7.x).

New JoomlaLMS modules are available for all editions (trial, standard, professional) and can be found within JoomlaLMS 1.2.0 installation package.

JoomlaLMS improvements and updates

Besides Joomla! 1.7.0 compatibility and fresh modules new version of JoomlaLMS has several improvements and fixes:

• Improved students removal process in administrator backend. Added possibility to remove several students from several different courses in one go.
• Updated Community Profile extension. Plugins restricted by administrators are now hidden in user profile and there is no annoying 'Access denied' message.
• Fixed compatibility issues with sh404SEF extension and several other 3rd party plugins.
• Many other fixes and improvements.
